Look at this TAVERN!!!
It’s finally finished (although our art department still has plenty more ideas to spruce it up even more) and we got to film in it for the first time 😀
The attention to detail is insane and it looks so good on Tom’s good cameras! (You’ll see the first episode shot in here at the end of this month.
It made our D&D experience so much more immersive, and the boys actually played some good D&D!

Have you considered shooting D&D in costumes? That would be super cool and it would fit so well with the tavern setting. Great work guys, I am looking forward to new episodes.
That would be amazing! But it would probably be too hot/uncomfortable with all the lights and stuff. At least we’ll hopefully get more greenscreen scenes now that they aren’t limited by either time or space!

This is incredibly beautiful! So much detail… so many little things! The art department has really done an amazing job on this! Though… where’s the garlic? Did Greg already eat it all? My favourite part is actually the D&D setup and props. Both cute (tiny things are cute!) and immersive. Out of all of your stuff I love the adventures of Baradun and the D*ckheads the most. I’m a big fan of some plot and longer content!
Hopefully we’ll get to meet the girls’ adventuring party soon. It’ll be so much fun following a group of characters/players from the start! When I found you, I binge-watched the boys until I caught up during the Witchlight festival. Seeing everything develop in “real time” is going to be a different experience.

It’s so dope! I I particularly like the vials, the red berries/fruits/bread/cheese/herbs, the bronze and brass objects, the blue lion-headed shield, the panel (of Quests?), the golden light, what comes out of the ordinary like the triangular cabinet and the marine lamps (glass ball surrounded by rope)… in short, eclecticism! Huge congratulations to the decorum team!
(personally I don’t really like skulls, seeing again a representation of a naked woman, and the decapitated goat… even if I love goats)
Of course I love the table for D&Ding: the minis that replace the post-its, the shape of the table… Does something happen if you press the logo?

This looks totally awesome. Rob looks so happy, and you all look so excited. I can’t wait to see these new episodes with the wonderful ambience.
I am so stoked for the DnD. I love your skits, but DnD is really a treat. I donated specifically in hopes that this would be achieved. It’s better than I could have imagined. The table and all the cool little designs and figures are awesome. Also, can’t wait for the guys to remember and stay fresh on story beats and character mechanics. So many great things to come for VLDL DnD.
I’m also excited to see the misadventures of Greg the Garlic Farmer and his tavern in NPC Man. Definitely no trouble ahead, in the tavern… with drinking… no, nothing bad or exciting will happen in the space ever.
I didn’t think it was possible but Rob looked even more excited to be shooting in the tavern. He was like a little kid at Christmas. Cannot wait to see what shenanigans they get up to at the tavern!

It looks amazing. Just from the livestream to now it has improved a lot more with the added props that help give that added aspect of immersion. I’m very excited to see the new episodes from the tavern. I know they’re going to be fantastic.
I could see the light in Rob’s face. He’s clearly extremely happy with it. There’s so much more space for all of his DM stuff, and his new initiative trackers are cool. I love how they can have the buffs/debuffs attached to them. That’s a really smart idea. I hope he has room for the GREEN dragon back there for when the boys need to shut the fuck up. Haha. I say GREEN, because I think Ben and I are the only people who know it’s actually green.
I’m happy to hear that Alan won’t be sad anymore. Hahaha. Wow, Sorry Alan, didn’t know you were sad at the old location so much. Feel better in the amazing tavern.
But all in all, the entire team has done a wonderful job. Thank you all for banding together and turning an empty studio into a place that can become whatever you want it to be. True art has no boundaries.

The props look amazing but PLEASE keep in mind that they are enhancement accessories and don’t rely on them for content. The magic you’ve created with your skits can be just as funny with a $10 prop as they can be with a 1k prop. You guys are the new Monty Python and I’m hoping the crowd funding will help you enlarge the scope of your comedy to encompass new material & plots that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to do like super-hero style parodies. Hoping for the best & keep up the great work!
The place looks great! So realistic! the art team did a fantastic job. I really love the bar area and the shields leaning on the wall. I can’t wait to see all that you do with the tavern and then the green screen! I’d love to be able to one day get over there and play a game of D&D with you, maybe a quick one shot? I am so glad I got in the Kickstarter. I truly believe you all went beyond everyone’s expectations with what you have accomplished so far!

This is what I wanted the most when I contributed to the kickstarter. The tavern is beautiful and what you will be able to create with the set is be just as assume.
