In a poetic twist of fate, Saturday marked one year since the end of The Great Expansion Kickstarter AND it happened to be our first day filming in the studio!!!
We filmed our next round of D&D game day, however since the Tavern isn’t quite ready, we filmed in the offices instead.
You’ll see in the video update that the studio is really close to being done! The toilets now exist, there’s nice furnishings and the kitchen is complete 😀
We’ll be officially moving into the offices in the next couple of weeks and the sets will follow.
We are honestly so overwhelmed by your support, and the fact we can now FILM at the studio is honestly a dream come true. We have no words, and we just want to thank you so much once again!

The fact that u guys are so happy with filiming even tho the studio isnt finished yet warms my heart. The amount of fun, joy, happiness, and laughs the entire team brings to us each and every week is worth it alone but seeing the smiles and excitement on ur faces just brings it all home, and makes it that much more worth it!

Greg’s cooking show should be an homage to all the great video game cooking. Just have him throwing in different sizes and amounts and forms of garlic (only garlic) into a pan, cover it, and when you remove the cover you have something like a Cheeseburger, a Steak or even rice. But as a twist, every item has a piece of garlic somewhere on the meal.

The kitchen is superb and I wouldn’t be against a few cooking videos (with or without a joke).
So far, this journey has been so inspiring (I’m even turning my front room into a green screen studio).I think when all is done you should gather all your vids a make a documentary about this journey adding in your though hopes and fears what was the plan if Kickstarter didn’t go bonkers I would buy it in a heartbeat I could be the only one though all the best loving seeing it all come together

The space is looking incredible, and being exactly one year later is a wonderful twist of fate. It doesn’t even seem that long ago, and it’s already so close to being a usable space for everyone, I am just so blown away and overjoyed!
I would totally watch Gregs Kitchen! That makes me think there should be a sketch where Greg is talking about all the things garlic can go with ala Bubba “garlig fish, garlic fries, garlic burgers, garlic cat…etc.”

I literally cannot believe that $100,000 was a green screen in a garage. How you have produced your content up to this point has been incredible. I cannot wait to see this fully functioning, and all the add ons that are to come once it is finished.

LOL a Greg’s Cooking Show would be funny, especially the Garlic Lambchops idea where the ingredients have to be gathered first (because the sheep have run amok), combined with the video game food prep logic idea where all this stuff is prepped, put in a pan, lid goes on, then lid off and complete meal revealed – whether it’s a burger with fries/chips, or a roast with potatoes, or a stew, or whatever. Magically finished food! Everything with garlic in it, even the ice cream.
There could be special guests. Bodger could come on for some Scottish specialty meal, or Baelin could bring some fish. (“Mornin’, nice day for FISH ain’t it?”) Fred could bring apples for a nice apple and garlic cobbler. The girl who is so kind to Death could bring carrots and tomatoes for roasted carrots, tomatoes, and garlic, garnished with edible flowers. I’ve forgotten her name but that was a sweet character.
I know it was a silly thought but it could be a funny running gag. Maybe not in the modern kitchen though. Perhaps the tavern set?
Anyhow, I remember well watching the last half hour of the kickstarter on my phone. We were driving and I was afraid we would hit a dead spot in the cell signal. But I managed to catch it all! Your reactions at hitting $2.5 million were so fun. Can’t wait to see all of what you manage to put together for us in your great new space!
